Economic Modeling, Econometric and
Statistical Analysis, Simulation, and Forecasting Examples of my experience in
economic modeling, econometric and statistical analysis,
simulation, and forecasting include:
 |
An econometric analysis of energy consumption by
automobile manufacturing facilities to determine potential
energy savings options. |
 |
Co-developed the HydroSim©
model, which simulates the hourly operations of hydroelectric
generating facilities. |
 |
Used benefit transfer methods to estimate the
benefits of bringing the Chicago metropolitan area into
attainment with the requirements of the 1990 Clean Air

as The Urban Ozone Abatement Problem (with
George S. Tolley, Jeffrey Wentz, and Steven Hilton), in
Kosobud, R., D. Hanson, and W. Testa (editors), Cost-Effective
Control of Urban Smog, Federal Reserve Bank of
Chicago, November 1993. |

Estimated the comparative macroeconomic impacts
of alternative legislative and market approaches to
reducing acid rain precursor emissions using the DRI macroeconomic
model.
|
 |
An analysis of alternative macroeconomic modeling
approaches to estimating the economic impacts of climate change
response strategies. |
 |
Research on the possible impacts of climate change and
alternative climate change response strategies on selected
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
member countries. |
 |
An econometric analysis of state-by-state
